Preparing for the First Challenge!

Are you ready for this?
Get in on the ground floor of something that's going to be spectacular!
Win a chance to have one of your items featured in lots of treasuries!

This is a "NonTeam". Meaning that you don't have to apply or join. Participate in the NonTeam Challenges whenever and how often you'd like. No commitments! Great exposure!

To join in, first read the Guidelines page so that you understand how it'll work.

Getting started on this first Challenge will have to be a little different since we have no previous winner. The etsy shop owner whose item we'll use for the first "Inspiration Item" will be chosen at random from those that comment below. Buyers-only are most welcome too. If you win this one, you'll choose any item on etsy for the first "Inspiration Item".

If you want to be the first winner.....

* Follow this blog.
* Each person may enter up to 5 times.
* Spread the word about this new "NonTeam" by doing any of the following - adding our button to your blog, posting this link (http://treasurychallengenonteam.blogspot.com/) on twitter, facebook, your blog, the forums, etc. Give this thread a bump. Any way you want to do it will count as one entry each.
* For each entry, leave a comment with your shop link and 1 way in which you spread the word.

The winner will be chosen at random on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 using Random.org.
Then we can get started! I'll post the first Treasury Challenge with a photo of and a link to the Inspiration Item, then we'll get to treasure hunting! The first Challenge will be posted Thursday, October 14, 2010. Be sure to check back then!

You'll have 5 days, until the 19th, to complete your treasuries. The next one will begin on Thursday, October 21st. I'm hoping to have new Challenges begin every Thursday. That's the plan for now.
