Some words from Beaditi......
This past weekend was EVENTFUL.
Forest walks, african safaris, nomadic city travel, sunken ships, exploring the indian ruins! And amongst all the adventure, daydreams of a cabin valentines, memories of grand ma, inspiration from unconventional successful women, planning for my spring garden - WOW a lot of activity!!
I really needed a quiet day to myself, and that's exactly what I did with my Sunday:
With hot cocoa and a keen eye, I soaked in all your fun treasuries, commenting, clicking and "circling" with some talented Etsy artists.
While it was hard to deliberate, my favorite is "Nature Breaking Through The Concrete".
I thought the title to be apt for our times, suggesting the polarity of growing concrete jungles, depleting natural beauty and nature's revenge on us at various locales on the planet. While the title is telling of our times, the collection takes off on a very positive message. Flourishcafe curates some lovely nature and city inspired artwork, jewelry, photography, accessories and simple everyday objects. Besides the variety in content, I loved the natural color palette and a rich mix of ethnic and modern designs.
