Winning Treasury Challenge #63

Some words from 88editions....

Wowza! What a wild ride it has been to be the winner of the nonteam T challenge. I have always been astonished at the creativity of etsy treasuries and, as a collage artist, I consider T making to be a new, although ephemeral, art form. The creativity and diversity was absolutely amazing! From the nods to Van Morison (there’s a huge chance that I was playing VM while printing this print), reenactments of my hike with Hannah the “German Shepherd extraordinaire”, or your personal intimate takes on moonlight and romance. I picked “Moonrise, Charmed Meadow” as the inspiration item because, like birds and trees, you see the moon depicted in art all the time, but there is a reason for this! We all share a in a fascination--our mysterious human experience is reflected in this vast and timeless universe.

I have looked at each treasury at least twice and several countless times. I whittled and whittled and went back and forth to the point of being dizzy—who needs Champaign on New Years Eve?

Finally I just had to pick this T “Overcome,” by Karn from NobleEarth

So many treasuries were fabulous eye candy, and this is no exception. I have to say that it is the title that took this T to the top of the list for me. It just speaks to me of the human condition in such a mysterious and subtle way. I can’t really explain it. And, at the risk of sounding all gushy, although I think my fellow etsians will agree, this weekly ritual that we all go through is not only a blast, but it makes me feel connected to you all. I’ll see you next week. I can’t wait to see what Noble Earth picks!

Lovely words, I really agree. I enjoy making treasuries so much, it's like creating for me, like giving birth to something I have inside and want to express, an inspiration that comes from another inspiration..and the game never ends. Making treasuries is quite a fantastic human experience.
Karn T is wonderful, I am happy of the win and can't wait for the next challenge!
Love!
