All I can say is WOW! What an inspiring experience this has been. I literally squealed with excitement when Sarah messaged me that our lovely Martha from CircleofLifeVA chose my treasury as the winner of Challenge 107! Thank you again Martha for giving me this gift!
I chose "Four Seasons of Trees" because we are in a transition of seasons at the moment and treasuries could go in any direction, winter, autumn, etc. You all certainly delivered! I love this team because the range of uniqueness is so broad, everyone has a style of their own and it is celebrated and encouraged. Thanks very much to all the volunteers who make this team happen, we are lucky to have you and thanks to everyone who participated in Challenge 108!
How FUN this was! Opening these treasuries was like Christmas morning, every single one was a gift. I can feel the time and effort put into each creation and thank you all for taking the time to imagine, then create these beautiful treasuries. They all struck a chord in me in some way, from making me laugh, warming my heart, bringing back happy, nostalgic memories and longing for loved ones from long ago. Choosing one was really, really difficult and I started with nearly 50 favorites and finally narrowed it down!
One of the first entries I came across was "A season of change" by Lori of ModGenesDesigns. I love the beautiful simplicity of this treasury and the feeling of autumn and winter coming together in all of their beauty. Something kept drawing me back into this beautiful mixture of the seasons and holidays. I want to jump in and be a part of it! Congratulations Lori and thank you for creating this beautiful interpretation of the changing seasons.
