What an Amazing Challenge! What A Week!
First of All, I want to Thank Marci for choosing my treasury last week and offering me this unforgettable experience and then I want to Thank each participant for creating so beautiful, creative, inventive, unique Treasuries, I am truly touched because we all know that during this period of holidays and celebration preparations, It was not easy to find time for making Treasuries.
I felt Honored and writing personal comments for each treasury was my way of Thanking each curator. This week, we had sparkling parties, cranberry tarts, delightful new year’s eve celebrations, we were invited to the Opera, to Surreal Circuses, we traveled from Istanbul to Shanghai, from Paris to Uzbekistan, from Vienna to Spain, we explored poetical universes, Mythology, got lost in Princess Jasmine’s Treasures, we met the Fire eater’s and Mrs Claus’s Wives…Every treasury was a gift, an invitation to discover artists, shops, cities, universes and stories.
But one them, The “Story of the Red Shoes” took my breath away. I had the feeling of watching a movie, following this lady getting dressed, celebrating the New Year ’s Eve, maybe drunk, maybe lost. Following her steps, her shoes, without seeing her face but being able to imagine her story, what a Bless. Thank you Amy for creating this story, inspiring us and making us participate to your creation process:
