What a wild ride and what fun this week! I want to thank each and every participant on this team for their creative minds and awesome curating skills. That old building was the center of many themes: a barn, a diving platform, a murder setting, a metaphor for aging, a roof top, a romantic memory, a tryst, an industrial icon, a haunting and a derelict from the infamous cow rebellion, just to name a few. I loved them all and every one of them is a winner in my heart ( and yes, I did hide my favorites list from you to add to the suspense). But alas I had to make choices which is a tormenting chore – in fact, I think I said “I’m sorry” to the computer every time I whittled down the list.
I finally got it down to the top 5, pretty much by category, actually, so I have 4 runner ups to share later on but it was the rustic beauty of Shelley’s (PeacockWhatYouLove) that won me over. The color palette is amazing as is the overall blending of soft & feminine, rustic & industrial and earthy & chic. Very complex and difficult, in my opinion, to do - combining such a wide variety of items. Girl, your birthday stars and planets are aligned - congratulations on this beauty!
