I want to thank Maaike for her work last week and for selecting me in the first place. Thanks also to Tennessee Williams, and to you artists and shop owners who post your beautiful listings. Thank you nonteammates, for your participation last week and also this week. And please allow me also a nod to the flashmobbers who add a dimension of everything good to my etsy experience. Finally, thank you to my wonderful spouse--In life and love what we've done together is what stands out as my greatest work.
This week we traveled into the nostalgia of youth, into children's literature, and we had also our fair share of uncommon, humorous threads, and not without drama. I was just thrilled to have a couple front page showings (my first appearance there!), additional exposure, a couple sales, and all thanks to the opportunity that is made possible by all involved in this treasury nonteam challenge! More forthcoming in the nonteam discussions at etsy, for as it time to announce a winner:
For its strong and cohesive use of color, introduction of a variety of uncommon items, and its aesthetically pleasing composition... For a well depicted story that wonderfully represents a favorite children's tale, although captured in a clear and original scene... I have chosen Carye's "The Night Max Crashed the Party..." Thank you to Carye and to you all who featured my son's photo in my fox hood hat this week, and thank you once again to all who participate in the treasury nonteam challenge!
