First and foremost, I want to say thank you to our team leader, Kellie. I am in awe of you and the selfless choices you are making in your life, to make a child's life better.
Secondly, I wish to thank every participant in the challenge this week. Your creativity is amazing. I truly loved each and every one of the treasuries.
Choosing a winner is hard. Every treasury had something in it that appealed to me. From mid-century style, to ethereal beauty, to fun holiday themes, to meaningful messages, you all sure know how to curate a treasury!
After paring the list to a dozen, I spent some quality time with each of those treasuries. I was taken by surprise when I actually chose the winner. I had a mental list of my top four treasuries, and was certain that the winner was among those four. However, as I worked my way through the final list, one treasury, that had flown under the radar, until now, kept bubbling to the top. I love the originality of the theme. The color palette that the curator chose is unique and original, as well. Most of all, I love what the main character in this treasury represents. Strength, self-sufficiency, with a touch of wild rebellion. These are characteristics I admire. And so, I give you: At Annie's Place by Dianna Wood.
