Martha, thank you so much for choosing my treasury and giving me this fabulous experience! Well, it was fabulous....right up to the point of having to choose. This is an exceptional challenge full of talented curators and picking a winner was as difficult as everyone says.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated. It was a truly wonderful treat to see my item in some of the best treasuries I have ever seen. There was not one treasury created that I didn't connect with in some way. It might sound silly but I actually cried, laughed, sighed and gasped while viewing these amazing creations.
One of the best things about this experience was the amount of beautiful art featured in the treasuries this week. A joy to see! The most surprising thing was the range of themes created! I also enjoyed the plethora of cats featured :)
Before I move on to the winner I would also like to thank the leaders of the team for all their hard work. This challenge would not remain so exceptional without their efforts.
I chose life as art made by Lori of ModGenesDesigns as the winner this week . I think it's gorgeous beyond words. I've studied this treasury for ages and still can't see how Lori blended the four lives depicted into such a cohesive, beautiful whole. I also loved the vintage French feel which fit perfectly with the inspiration item. Mostly though I was inspired by it. Inspired to live a beautiful, artful life. Thank you Lori and congratulations! I hope you enjoy your week :)
