Some words from Chronopolis......
First of all, I would like to thank ripecardsandjewelry for choosing my treasury in the previous challenge. I am SO honored to have won, given the amazing number of gorgeous treasuries I was up against.
Before this week’s challenge started, I knew it would be difficult to pick a winner, but I figured I could do it by following a little plan: keep a list of 15 treasuries maximum and replace them as I see fit. Boy was I in for a surprise.
I could not for the life of me replace my first 15 treasuries, so I just kept adding, and adding, and adding. I ended up with over 40 treasuries, and I had the hardest time going down to the final 11! Everyone worked so hard and created such gorgeous collections. I was amazed by the variety of themes! So many clever, funny, romantic, poetic, dark, and colorful treasuries!
When I started looking at the treasuries, I honestly thought I’d end up with a steampunk themed winner. But I was just as drawn to the various original treatments, and ended up with a bunch of very eclectic collections.
In the end, the one that had me coming back a little more than the others was Steam-POP. I just adore the quirkiness of it. It has such an amazing mix of vivid, odd and fun items, yet it has this clean and crisp feel to it. I could just put it in a frame and hang on my wall!
Thank you everyone for putting all your heart in this challenge. I had a blast going through all of them and witnessing your talent and originality! This team rocks!
Cheers!
